As the Chief Financial Officer, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer who is approachable, proactive, and a strong people leader. You will be part of a successful Senior Leadership Team, lead through influence and have a strong sense of ownership for results.

**Key responsibilities**
- Contribute to the company’s performance, growth, and strategic direction by active participation in and contribution to the Senior Leadership Team
- Provide leadership and clear direction to your team to enable business objectives for Vital
- Ensure that Vital are supported with the relevant financial data, with a view of helping them understand where possible gains can be made
- Formulate and manage annual and longer term financial and strategic plans for the company
- Lead the wider business, in conjunction with the Chief Executive towards a path of stronger commercial discipline and driving gains in efficiency
- Build supportive working relationships across Vital, where the finance function is viewed as a key business partner and enabler to bring rigour and support management decision making
- Support the Heads of Teams to deliver on their key accountabilities

To fit the culture of this team we are looking for a strong and supportive team builder, with excellent relationship skills who can delegate effectively, but still can ‘roll up your sleeves’ and deliver core finance duties. You will have proven experience as a successful senior finance leader, with demonstrated success contributing to successful business results in a commercial environment.
