Ko mātou tēnei | This is Us BNZ Workplace Technology is a high performing team with a clear vision to provide the best workplace technology experience for our colleagues and a plan to get there We have created a new Senior Technical Specialist role in our Productivity team to strengthen workplace technology for colleagues. In this key position, you will help deliver our Workplace Technology vision and mentor other team members. This Auckland or Wellington-based hybrid role allows flexible work for two days each week. Mō te Tūranga | About the Role We sat down with our Platform Lead, and they let us know the following about the role. What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? As a senior member of the team, you'll take a leading role in the management and enhancement of the tools our colleagues need to create and share content and ideas, including: - Championing Content Collaboration: Oversee and enhance platforms such as SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Loop, and Microsoft Stream to ensure seamless content storage and sharing. - Driving Productivity Excellence: Lead the adoption and effective use of enterprise productivity suites, including Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot, and more) and the Adobe Suite. - Advancing AI Integration: Bring your expertise in artificial intelligence technologies—such as Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot Studio—to help our team unlock new levels of efficiency and creativity. - Resolving Technical Challenges: Provide expert support in incident and problem management, guiding the team to quickly address and remediate any issues that arise. You will also be the trusted expert everyone turns to for our workplace technology—your knowledge sets the standard. This will include handling complex challenges head on and delivering fast, accurate solutions when it matters most. You will also effectively collaborate, inspire, and mentor—help others grow while driving our success together. What is the team culture and environment like? Dive into exciting tools like Microsoft Loop to make productivity fun and engaging. - Storage specialist - Extensive experience with SharePoint Online and OneDrive. - Security minded - Understanding of security concepts and how to implement these in an enterprise environment. Ideally you will also bring project delivery skills such as: - Cloud migrations - Experience with delivering storage migrations to SharePoint Online and OneDrive. - Change & adoption - Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality communications, workshops, and presentations to successfully implement organisational change.
