**About the company**:
This is a government organisation that is opening new offices based in Christchurch CBD that focuses on environmental matters.
**About the role**:
In this role you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative services across the team. This will be a customer focused role that takes a flexible and integrated approach to ensure the support is delivered seamlessly across the organisation.
You will be the sole Business Support Coordinator in the Christchurch office, but you will have a supportive administration team based within the Wellington office to work alongside.
This is a full-time 6-month fixed term role with the potential to become permanent.
- Meeting and event support.
- Property and facilities bookings and coordination.
- Financial transaction support.
- General administration tasks.
- Secretariat support.
- Programme and project management support.
- Health and safety support.
- Visitor management.
- Recruitment support.
**About you**:
You will ideally be a proactive, initiative-driven person with motivation to push yourself. You will need an intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook ability to be successful in this role.
- Self-motivated, able to show initiative, organised, and able to prioritise work.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work co-cooperatively and effectively as part of a team/autonomously
- Ensure the inclusion of te ao Māori in your work
