**The Role**

We are looking for a high-performing, hands-on person to join our New Zealand Health, Safety & Wellbeing team to support our Airvo manufacturing team. The medical devices manufactured by the Airvo team treat patients all around the world who need respiratory support.

This is a dynamic role which will see you partner with the Airvo team to champion health, safety and wellbeing. You will continuously improve and embed safe practices, thinking, and behaviours into the team’s everyday operations. You will lead, coach and build partnerships that promote continuous improvement to empower engagement and ownership in improving our safety maturity

Located at our head office campus in Highbrook, Southeast Auckland we have an amazing work environment which has open green spaces including a lake & walking track, amenities for employees to keep healthy and happy such as on-site cafeterias, a medical clinic, free car-parking, as well as a range of employee benefits insurance to name a few.

**About You**

We are looking for a fresh thinking, engaging and technically savvy person who is passionate about health, safety and wellbeing. In addition to your great communication skills, you will be resilient, adaptable and constantly seeking ways to challenge the status quo and empower shared leadership and ownership of safety within a global, culturally diverse organisation.

Essential for this role:

- At least 3 years HSW experience in a leadership role within a large or global organisation
- Working knowledge and experience in health, safety & wellbeing management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Risk Management experience
- Proven ability to engage and influence at a line management and team level
- A fresh thinking approach and the ability to drive continuous improvement
- Effective at engaging and influencing key stakeholders at all levels with a hands-on approach
