**Our café is a very popular, high profile and busy café in Christchurch. We pride ourselves in delivering first class customer service along with outstanding coffee and food. **Our staff are a fun loving group and are great to work with.**
We are currently looking to employ an experienced café cook or cook assistant on a part-time basis.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- good experience in a busy cafe style kitchen
- able to help our cook to prepare cafe style breakfast, lunch and cabinet food
- have basis knowledge and experience to deepfry food
- able to work under pressure

Emphasis will be placed on good interpersonal skills, strong customer focus, food flair and exceptional work ethic. You will have a sound understanding of a kitchen structure and operation and be able to work autonomously.

This role with day time hours only. Exact days and times can be discussed with the employer and there will be between 6-20 hours available depending on your availability. At least one weekend shift will be required per week.

Pay rate related to experience and work performance.

This role is great for people who want to be a cook in future.
