This is a permanent part-time District Nursing role where you will provide a variety of nursing services. District Nursing is part of the network of community based health care delivery services that aims to work in partnership with others to support treatment, rehabilitation, long term condition management and enable individuals to maximise their independence.
Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team
Our team is made of District Nurses, Associate Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists Health Care Assistants and Admin support. The team supports skill acquisition through a comprehensive orientation program and encouraging you to expand your knowledge and skills.
Nurses with Lower limb and Doppler skills will be given the opportunity to further their advanced assessment skills in this role.
Moū - About you
We are keen to hear from Registered and Enrolled nurses who are interested in working in the community environment and integrating with other members of the community health care team.
An interest in Wound Care and commitment to addressing health disparities is an advantage.
