**The Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner or Commercial Analyst to join our team on a fixed term contract. This role will form strategic relationships and a commercial understanding of the business plans and priorities for the Portfolio you support. You will contribute to and drive business goals through the provision of business specific, strategic, and consultative financial services.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Monitor actual results against budget and forecasts, undertake analysis to identify issues and recommend possible corrective actions where appropriate
- Support the Leadership team in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycle
- Prepare monthly performance packs for your portfolio providing insights to the leadership team of financial metrics, business drivers and all aspects affecting business and financial performance
- Provide financial inputs for the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process including pricing, costing and financial and commercial analysis for business cases and issue resolution
- Undertake financial analysis including: business case support; productivity reviews and analysis; NPV analysis and modelling; and strategy support

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this role will require:

- Experienced financial analyst
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to understand business issues and demonstrate a business focus
- Success oriented and committed to achieving challenging objectives
- Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills

You will ideally be a Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent as is previous experience in a similar role.
