Dental Assistant

**About the role**:
Based at our busy City clinic, this role is primarily focused on Dental Assisting, with some front desk support as needed across other clinics. You will be working closely with our dental team to provide high-quality care and support to Pacific families and individuals, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment.

In this full-time role (40 hours per week, 8.30 am-5.00 pm, Mon-Fri, with some future extended hours possible), you will support clinical care, manage appointments and payments, and ensure patients feel welcome and cared for - all while contributing to our unique FonoCare Integrated Model of Care, which connects health and social services to make a real difference in our community's health and well-being.

**About you**:
You will bring a caring and professional approach to our team and demonstrate the following:
- At least 12 months or more experience as a Dental Assistant.- Current NZDA in Dental Assisting or in the process of completing it (or willing to complete).- A strong work ethic and a supportive approach to teamwork.- A desire to build a stable, long-term career in dental or oral health.- Proven skills in delivering excellent customer service, especially in fast-paced community-focused environments.- The ability to speak a Pacific language is advantageous and highly valued in helping us connect with and support our diverse communities.
