**About the Company**:
The Company specialises in the design, procurement, implementation and support of corporate ICT infrastructure solutions including those delivered via the cloud.

**About the Role**:
This position provides technical leadership, architecture, and design advice to clients to help them select technology and services. The role will help stimulate opportunities for the business unit by exciting clients around what is possible. The role will be an authority on all aspects of the ICT ecosystem, On-Premise and Cloud, and will provide input into the Ignite product Ecosystem and documentation standards and solution process. As well this role will be technical lead for the implementation of the more complex requirements our clients have, and ensure a high degree of success.
- Design and implement IT infrastructure, network and cloud solutions using the most appropriate cloud technologies
- Provide architectural leadership to internal client account and delivery teams
- Provide inspirational technical leadership and innovative thinking
- Provide architectural leadership for Application Modernisation and Cloud Migrations
- Own Project to BAU transition process and governance
- Act as Technical Lead / mentor for delivery teams

**About You**:

- Technical involvement in large / medium scale projects.
- Microsoft Server and desktop OS and Application implementation and support, including cloud services
- A sound understanding of the connectivity between desktop, server and network hardware, as well as functioning across a distributed environment.
- Proficiency across the following areas:

- Core Microsoft technologies (AD, Printing, DHCP, DNS)
- Cloud technologies (Office365, Exchange Online, Azure and AWS)
- Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V).
- Storage technologies (SAN, DAS, NAS)
- Data protection, backup and recovery (Veeam, Commvault, Shadow Protect, ASR etc)
- Platform monitoring and management e.g. SCCM and SCOM
- Windows deployment and patching
- PowerShell scripting, process automation
- Confidence to engage with our clients, and talk them through benefits of the solution you are recommending.
