Hays, in exclusive partnership with Universal Print and Design Limited, is seeking a talented and driven Pre-Press and Design Specialist to join their dynamic team based in East Tamaki. **Your new role**

As the Pre-Press Graphic design Specialist you will collaborate with the design team to create and execute high-quality pre-press and design projects. Prepare artwork files for print production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company guidelines. Conduct pre-flight checks and troubleshoot any technical issues to optimise print quality. Assist in graphic design tasks, including layout, typography, and image manipulation. Work closely with the senior designer to receive training, guidance, and continuous professional development.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience in pre-press and graphic design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of “CorelDraw” and advantage.
- Confidence to deal directly with clients.
- Strong knowledge of pre-press processes, print production, and file preparation.
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure artwork accuracy and colour consistency.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a family-oriented environment.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
