We have an opportunity for an experienced **Business Development Manager** to execute our domestic service growth initiatives based in Auckland. This new position provides an opportunity for a proven Solutions Sales Specialist to join our well established and experienced team.
Based in our Apollo Drive office and reporting to the ANZ Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for creating and developing new opportunities outside of the traditional IT reseller database for Commerce Lifecycle Services. You will be leveraging our specialists and other resources to maximise the success for each new opportunity found. With a focus on growing and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline, this role will suit an individual who is solution focused and enjoys developing strong relationships with new customers.
**Role and responsibilities**:
- Develop new business opportunities, securing outsourced 3PL business that aligns with the company’s growth objectives
- Build strategic Senior Exec (Divisional Director / C level) relationships with customers influencing decisions and driving opportunities throughout the sale cycle
- End-to-end supply chain and logistics Solutions development to support customer driven opportunities
**About You**:
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Business Development, Sales and/or Solution Design & Implementation, preferably in 3PL, carrier or ICT Sales
- Exposure to complex account sales & management
- Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
- Costing, pricing, and modelling experience
- Process mapping and system analysis
- Excellent Sales and Negotiation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- An effective communicator, both verbal and written
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Solutions focused with a mindset to maximise revenue & margin opportunities for Ingram Micro through cross-sales, proactive market development and exploring untapped market segments
