Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Desired skills and attributes required for the role:
- 5+ years experience as a FP&A Manager
- CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Experience with SAP and Power BI/COGNOS would be beneficial but not essential
- Very strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills, ideally from a corporate finance background
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work alongside all levels of stakeholders, including those outside of finance (e.g. operational managers)
- Ability to critically evaluate proposals and opportunities and offer good commercial judgement.
- Proven ability to hold stakeholders accountable and influence effectively
- Keen interest in Technology driven business is desirable
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Add value and drive improvement through reporting, analysis and true business partnering with NZ CEO, Executive team, ANZ CFO and Head of FP&A
- Financial modelling and analysis to support quality commercial decision making and negotiations regarding productivity, new business opportunities, resourcing, and other key pricing or operational decision making.
- Prepare Annual Budget and forward-looking forecasts
- Preparing, tracking, coordinating and presenting month end results (KPIs and management reports) to key Service Line stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders especially Service Leads and Operations Managers, providing relevant concise information.
- Time critical responses to various tasks and meeting the deadlines.
- Design and build new ways of reporting monthly financial results, including rhythm and structure in backward facing financial reporting and forward-looking forecasting
- Work with wider Finance team to develop and maintain reports, and supporting system improvements
