We are seeking an experienced fixed-term, fulltime Personal Assistant (PA) with a “can do” attitude to support the Academic Registrar. This position is fixed term to provide maternity cover.

While the Academic Registrar is responsible for leading, co-ordinating, and reporting on quality and compliance across all academic programmes internally and externally, the role of the Personal Assistant will specifically provide administration and secretarial support services to the Academic Registrar, including providing secretarial/meeting support to various committees that the Academic Registrar is responsible for, compiling and generating reports, assisting with tracking budgets, and providing general administration support to the wider Academic Registry team, and CE Office.

To undertake this role, you will need to be a self-starter, organised, and you will ooze initiative Your relationship and interpersonal skills will need to be exceptional.

You will also have:

- A graduate qualification in business.
- At least five years’ experience in an executive or personal assistant role.
- Previous committee secretary experience providing formal meeting agenda, minutes, correspondence, and record management support.
- Experience researching information for, compiling, writing, and generating reports.
- Experience using a range of Microsoft Office programmes including advanced skills using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and intermediate skills using SharePoint and Teams.
- A full and clean driver’s licence.

Knowledge of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori to at least an intermediate level and/or a willingness and commitment to improving Te Reo Māori competency beyond basic will be expected.
