Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Use infrastructure management tools to determine load and performance statistics.
- Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.
- Provide suggestions for improvement to specialists, users and managers.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised and cloud-based environments.
- Implement agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines. Configure tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of new and changed infrastructure.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**:

- Knowledge and experience relevant to IT corporate technologies, such as Microsoft 365 platform services including Exchange Online/Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, InTune & Defender
- Knowledge and experience with automation and scripting (using PowerShell/Ansible/Python);
- Experience with Cloud, AWS and Azure services and practices;
- Familiarity Business Intelligence Applications (Business Objects, SaS, Qlik Sense, R-Server)
- Focus on quality and comfortable with ambiguity;
- Familiarity with Kanban, Agile, Scrum, DevOps and SRE;
- Creative, self-starter, addresses challenges in an ordered, collaborative manner;
- Loves to learn and share, particularly new technologies & development processes.

Previous work experience in the health sector would be beneficial for success in this role.

This role requires and/or would benefit from the following
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a willingness to learn and grow
