Florence Nightingale Agency is a leading provider of quality home and community-based services with a reputation for providing first class support services.

We have a very dedicated team that puts their heart into the community and are able to care for clients with all needs, including serious injury, complex care, brain injury, autism, intellectual disability and mental health. We are looking for motivated, compassionate, empathetic individuals to support our clients to live their best life.

We currently have two positions available for 20 guaranteed hours over Saturday and Sunday, with the opportunity to pick up hours throughout the week if desired.

We work across a fortnightly schedule; we are open to discussing 20 guaranteed hours on the basis that one weekend day per week is included or alternate weekends.

You will be required to provide support between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., supporting various people throughout their days. These shifts are generally 30 minutes
- 1.5 hours per person, depending on the person.

The shifts will consist of assisting people with transferring (using a hoist or similar technology), catheter care, supporting mobility (helping with stretching), showering and any other personal care that may be required.

- Have experience working in the disability sector or are willing to learn how to support people with higher care needs.
- Have good verbal communication skills, the right attitude, and the ability to build a rapport with people from different backgrounds.
- Have access to a car and a minimum of restricted licence.
