We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our team at our Havelock North Village. This is a casual position to assist in providing village cover, reporting directly to the Village Manager. Our Village Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. The Village Assistant role provides great diversity, therefore you would provide a degree of both operational and administrative cover for the Village Manager. This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty. **Nightshift**: This is an "awake" role in which you will be sole-charge whilst on duty and be required to respond to any emergency situations which may arise. You will also carry out a range of tasks such as cleaning/ housekeeping tasks as required. This is accomplished within the context of ensuring that the residents feel supported and secure, and enjoy living within Summerset's Villages. **Qualifications**: First Aid training and experience is preferred but not essential. Caregiving experience is also preferred but not essential. Training can be provided. **Additional Information**: The safety of our residents and staff is important to us.
