**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

We are seeking an Administrator to provide administration services and operational support to our Generation and Development team at our Stratford Thermal Power Station. You will be part of the Support team but assist in other areas or sites as required.

This role is the perfect mix of administration and operations support. Day to day you’ll provide administration support and be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our Stratford office. You’ll assist with things like; safety inductions, financial reporting, travel and accommodation bookings, minute taking and word processing, event management, purchase of office supplies and expense/invoice management using our SAP accounting system.

As for Operations support, you’ll be responsible for issuing security passes and maintaining our databases. Plus, you’ll maintain the office equipment and organise maintenance or repairs when required.

This role promises to provide variety. In addition to the tasks above you will also;
- Maintain central knowledgebase (includes filing, where necessary) both electronically and physically.
- Assist with Inventory management.
- Support training coordination and associated logistics.
- Assist other teams or sites as required, including identifying opportunities for improvement of systems and processes, and suggest advice and/or strategies to other staff to minimise risks.
- Oversee Emergency and Civil Defence administration.

- 5 years’ administration experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Discreet when dealing with confidential issues.
- Great time management skills with the ability to juggle a busy workload.
- Solid Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- SAP software knowledge would be an advantage.
