How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

In this position you will join our Energy and Industrial team as a leader, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘Bring Ideas to Life’ for our clients. With a focus on growing our energy and industrial business, we are actively recruiting for those passionate about working collaboratively and building on already strong technical knowledge. This broad role will see you assisting with winning new business, fostering long-lasting client relationships, managing project delivery, and mentoring and coaching your team whilst promoting a culture of technical excellence. Our preference is for those with a background in Chemical and Process Engineering, however, well rounded Engineers with strong understanding of all disciplines will also be highly regarded.

As a Technical Director, a core part of your role will be leadership, specifically
- Lead aspects of strategic planning, design and implementation of complex solutions to meet client needs.
- Act as a role model through your behaviours and decision making, which are aligned to a diverse and inclusive workplace; a leader who our people choose to follow and work with.
- Help set direction and vision, be passionate about our business, develop strong and effective working relationships across the Aurecon network based on mutual respect and trust.
- Strive to make others succeed, removes barriers to working with others and be authentic in your leadership style.

- Business development through building client relationships, promoting capability, developing business strategy, and co-ordinating with other technical leads regionally and globally

- Resource planning and managing the team’s utilisation and effectiveness
