**We are looking for committed and hardworking Truck Drivers - 5 to cover vacant positions.**
Location-Company based in Auckland however the role requires to travel all over NZ depending upon the deliveries.
**The employee shall be responsible for the diligent and faithful performance of the following duties**:
- Driving Duties.
- Pick up parcels from customers’ doorsteps and scan them using a mobile app or device.
- Deliver parcels to the recipients’ addresses within the specified time frame and obtain their signatures or feedback.
- Follow safety and hygiene guidelines for COVID-19 and ensure that the parcels are handled with care and respect.
- Report any damages, losses, or complaints to the company and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle and equipment used for the service.
- Completing all required documentation.
- Ensuring the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition and carrying out minor maintenance tasks, if required.
- Attending to the usual reporting procedures associated with driving.
- Attending to the daily checking of vehicle (oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety conditions, and equipment security, road user charge license, hub odometer readings, etc.) and keeping the employer informed of the need for road user charges and maintenance required.
- Such other duties as the employer may reasonably require.
**To be suitable for this role you must**:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory and hold a Clean full Class 5 driving license
- Maintain a proactive approach to your Health and Safety and those around you
- Due to the nature of the business, the employee needs to travel and work around New Zealand hence flexibility is needed.
- Maintain a professional road manner
- Can work on Weekends if required
