We’re embracing opportunities to innovate, collaborating with leading names globally to develop, adopt and share cutting-edge technologies that drive energy sustainability and efficiency.

**Culture that powers progress**

Hear from our people on what they enjoy most about Vector, why they joined and why they stay.

**The role**

As Inventory Lead, you’ll ensure the right materials are available to keep Auckland’s energy flowing. You’ll manage inventory levels, translate demand forecasts into replenishment plans, and use SAP to optimise stock and prevent shortages or overstocking.

You’ll be the team’s MRP expert, stress-testing system outputs and supporting our move to a modern ERP platform. You’ll also champion data integrity and work closely with operations and delivery teams to improve inventory processes.

You’ll join a collaborative, highly motivated team leading a programme to transform supply chain practice. This is a unique opportunity to help change the way we think about inventory, with in-flight initiatives including delayed differentiation, engineering BOMs and RFID data carriers focused on driving value and efficiency.

**Who are we looking for?**
- An inventory specialist with strong analytical skills and a proven track record in inventory management, ideally using SAP
- Demonstrated expertise in material requirements planning (MRP), with the experience and confidence to challenge numbers, assess risk and plan for long term outcomes
- An ERP-native and advocate, with a command of systems, process and data structures developed from experience and sound practice
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment
- Someone who takes initiative, owns their work, and is motivated to help shape the future.

**Why Vector**

We know that great energy starts with great people, and we’re committed to creating an environment where you can be, do and achieve your best:

- Enhance your wellbeing, protect your future and empower your personal and professional growth through our extensive benefits package
- Supercharge your career through internal opportunities, own your own development plan and drive your learning and growth

- Build a legacy doing work that matters - we’re keeping the lights on across Auckland, and driving a sustainable energy future for New Zealand.
