Rotorua, New Zealand Everest People Full time

We are proud to work alongside Central Kids Early Education in finding their next Regional Manager.

**About the business**

Central Kids provides early childhood education to over 2,500 tamariki each year, across 27 geographical locations across the Central North Island. Their roots are in providing a learning-through-play experience that enhances the development of tamariki. They are not-for-profit, and their focus is on sustainability and delivering positive outcomes for tamariki, whānau and communities. Central Kids Early Education’s role is to nurture the unique strengths of each tamaiti and work in partnership with whānau to support the transition to school and future success.

**About the role**

As Regional Manager, you will oversee and manage 10 early childhood centres in the Bay of Plenty, playing a pivotal role in guiding and supporting their talented kaiwhakaako (head teachers). Your leadership will ensure the effective management of each centre, fostering a thriving environment for tamariki.

This position is a blend of strategic business management and educational excellence, requiring you to balance fiscal responsibility with outstanding educational and social outcomes. As a key leader within their organisation, you will cultivate a positive and engaged culture, ensuring tamariki flourish under their care. You will also maintain strong community relationships, reflecting commitment to partnership and understanding the unique needs of each community they serve.

**About you**

We seek a seasoned professional with experience in managing multi-site operations and leading managers. Ideally, you will be based in the Bay of Plenty rohe to effectively support their services. A proven track record in financial management, strong business acumen, digital savviness, and proficiency with web-based platforms is essential. Additionally, experience in social impact and outcomes in sectors such as health, social services, or education is highly valued.

All applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
