**We are seeking for one Interior Decorator to join our team.**

You will be paid an hourly rate of $28.00 - $30.00 depending on your experience and skill level.

You will be working in Auckland. This role will be a permanent, full time position and will be guaranteed 30 hours of work per week from Monday to Saturday but can be up to 45 hours weekly.

Paid weekly, 4 weeks annual leave, Statutory holidays, Sick and bereavement leave. Opportunities to upskill.

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Performing inspections of client premises to establish existing design and take measurements.
- Advising clients on the selection of colour schemes, layout, lighting, furniture, floor coverings, curtains, paint, wallpaper, curtains and blinds.
- Providing design sketches, specifications and quotes for client approval.
- Supervising and coordinating the installation and layout of furniture and furnishings and ensuring subcontractor work meets quality, safety and cost expectations within established deadlin
- Selling to the public or tradespeople in a retail setting
- Meeting with clients and other tradespeople such as architects, electricians and builders to discuss project requirements.
- Selecting suppliers of materials and labour.
- Minimum 2 years related experience is preferred, while not necessary as we can provide training if you have a positive and can-do attitude
- High attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills;
- Pro-active, physically fit with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic;
- Great communication skills and excellent time management skills;
- Ensure all work is carried out in a professional manner; and Take pride in your workmanship.
