To be considered for this role, you should either have at least 1-year relevant work experience or relevant qualification (preferably in Hospitality/Business/Management).

What will you do?
- Assist with the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training and motivating employees as well as, conducting appraisals and performance reviews and providing or organizing training and development.
- Develop and maintain a professional and cooperative relationship with suppliers.
- To help the manager ensure the overall business operates smoothly.
- Ensure the business has a sufficient level of staffing and staff rosters are prepared in a timely manner.
- Ensure staff are trained in the correct procedure for running the business.
- Ensure staff are aware of specials. Answer phones quickly and ensure staff do the same.
- Follow up on customer complaints/comments and confident in resolving it professionally and efficiently.
- Assist the store manager with managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control and pricing, including implementing stock control systems, stock tracking, purchasing, stock discounting and clearance;
- Daily cash reconciliation, petty cash and banking.
- Maintain security controls cash, keys, alarms and stock.

Do you have what it takes?
- Food industry experience or Diploma/Degree in Hospitality/Business/Management would be preferable.
- Working on weekends and being available on-calls are required for this position.
- At least 3 days a week you will be required to work late night shifts between 6:00pm to 2:00 am
- Good verbal and written communication skills are required, especially being able to talk and communicate well over the phone to handle any customer issues, orders, request over the phone.
- Excellent computer, POS and stock control skills required.
- Must be willing to do extra hours or to cover shift as and when required.
- A full driving license and clean and consistent work history required.
- Ability to pass a police check and Drugs tests if necessary.

To be considered for this role you should be able to provide previous work references.

Applicant should be flexible to work in any other store of the employer within Auckland region.

Hourly wage rate: $25 - $28 per hour (based on experience and skills).

Employment is full-time with a minimum of 30 hours per week with the Weekly payroll.
