**The Job**:
These roles involve traveling to meet with people and provide support in a one to one basis in the community. You will be part of a dynamic team that provides support targeted to meet the needs of the individual and whanau. Support may involve recreational, social, or vocational activities and providing and administering medication.

**Hours of work**:
These are casual positions with no set hours of work, with flexibility to work the weekends as required. Work is offered as and when required.

**The Skills**:
Passion for people, flexible approach, team player, good listener, self-motivated and good initiative.

Relevant experience or qualification is desirable but not essential.

Support Workers come from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, but all have one thing in common, the desire to enable others to develop resilience and move forward with their recovery.

You will have a current First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain one and a full NZ driver’s licence is essential.

MASH is a provider of community based residential and rehabilitation support services. We support a range of people with differing needs to live as independently as possible in the community.

The Community Service Team provides community-based housing with support staff available depending on the level of need, throughout the Palmerston North, Horowhenua and Tararua Regions.
