**Vascular Surgeon - Te Whatu Ora, Counties Manukau and Te Toka Tumai Auckland**
- **Opportunity to join our largest tertiary District Hospitals in New Zealand**:
- **Permanent full time (1.0 FTE) position**
In this role there will be opportunities for the full range of Vascular Surgery including Aortic, Carotid, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Trauma and Renal Dialysis Access. You will have access to recently refurbished operating theatres across the Northern Region District Hospitals including a state-of-the-art hybrid operating theatre. You will be responsible to manage endovascular sessions, outpatient clinics (Including out-reach clinics) and have specific responsibilities for the co-ordination of Renal Vascular Access. This position includes after hours on call availability. You will be supported by the wider Vascular teams which comprise of SMOs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Specialists and Vascular Ward Staff.
Our district hospitals services many specialty areas and is the base for the National ECMO Service, Paediatric Cardiology, Adult Congential Cardiac Services, the National Intestinal Failure Service, National Liver Transplant and Complex Aortic Referrals, National Burns Centre and the Auckland Spinal Unit.

**You will bring**:
- Vascular training and an interest in Renal Access Surgery.
- You should hold or be eligible for FRACS (Vascular).
- You should hold or be eligible for vocational registration in vascular surgery by the New Zealand Medical Council
