**About the job**

This job offers an above minimum wage hourly rate and range of employee benefits; This would be an on-site role located at Mitre 10 MEGA Silverdale in Auckland; This is a permanent, full-time opportunity in a collaborative, hands-on team. The initial roster pattern for this role would be Tuesday to Saturday, midmorning to 7pm finish.

**About the role**

The purpose of this role is to ensure company property, merchandise and stock is correctly purchased and accounted for and to maintain a high level of visibility and to deter illegal actions. We are looking for an experienced retail security professional for our Loss Prevention department to serve the Silverdale community. Your day would involve conducting foot and static patrols; checking vehicles and the load/items against the invoice/receipt and dealing with any discrepancies; monitoring and reviewing camera footage and reported incidents and breaches; liaising with the in-store teams (retail, gardens and trade departments) to identify and deter potential theft and reporting any suspicious findings.

**What will you bring?**
- You would have prior experience in loss prevention preferably in a retail environment.
- You would have outstanding customer service and time management skills
- You would be confident using electronic devices
- You would be detail oriented, paying attention to detail with accuracy
- You would have a clean full New Zealand drivers’ license which would be an advantage for this role
