Warehouse Storeperson

Tight knit team in a high performing store
- Assist with installation deadlines, stock control and ordering processes
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm

**About the role**

This team shares a high level of camaraderie, so if you have a good sense of humour, like to work with autonomy, and take ownership of your warehouse, you'll be the right person for the job You'll have close support from our Operations Manager and the rest of the team to help settle in.

Assist with the daily activities of inwards goods, picking and product cutting functions to get the product out on time and in full. You'll pride yourself on your work ethic to be accurate with inwards and outwards goods.

You'll be operating the forklift, so a forklift licence is preferred. You'll learn how to cut carpet to send it out on jobs if you don't already know how.

Experience as a warehouse store person preferred

Knowledge of warehouse computer systems and processes

Ability to operate hand tools and mechanical equipment

You will need:

- First Aid Certified (optional)
- Fork hoist Licence is highly beneficial
- Previous warehouse experience

What your daily tasks might look like:

- Accurate recording of goods and out
- Load and unload delivery truck
- To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork
- To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer
- Evaluate complaints
- Support integrity of computerized inventory records
- Actively run regular stock takes
- To be responsible for the goods in / out / stores areas to comply with Health and Safety, Insurance requirements, and to generally to maintain it in a tidy and orderly way.
