This is an **amazing opportunity for a Merchandising and Support Specialis**t to work with a renowned industry leader and household name, at the forefront of technology and innovation. This role is working **13 hours per week**, based in our Christchurch region.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for people and tech. With exceptional people skills and a natural curiosity, you’ll seek to understand consumer purchasing decisions and deliver a world-class customer experience.

As the technical expert for your product portfolio, you’ll make a significant impact by driving in-store merchandising, training and support. You will be enthusiastic and customer-centric, sharing your product knowledge whilst upholding the principles of this brand.

In order for you to perform your role we will provide you a competitive remuneration including a fuel card, tools of trade including phone device with phone plan and a laptop.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Managing fortnightly call cycles and responsibilities within your portfolio
- Upholding merchandising standards and working to merchandising briefs.
- Educating customers on products and being the first point of contact.

**We are ideally looking for someone who has**:

- Previous experience in merchandising OR technology-based retail is ideal, although full training is provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence when approaching customers to recommend products
- Willingness to learn and share product based technical expertise
- Ability to build and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders

This role has high levels of autonomy and regular travel, so you must be organised and self-managing. You must have your own car, along with a clean, full drivers license. You must be an NZ citizen, have NZ Permanent Resident status or a valid NZ work visa.
