**Personal Assistant (PA) and Administration Officer (27 - 30 hours per week, hours of work negotiable)**

Are you a well organised and excellent communicator who believes that the Timaru District offers a fantastic work-life balance?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and proactive individual to work in a diverse role that extends from the core running of our small office, personal assistant duties for our Chief Executive, a variety of administrative functions and liaising with our great local businesses.

This role involves:

- Providing general office administrative support and coordination across our Economic & Visitor operations, including a variety of projects underway at any given time.
- Board meeting minutes and administrative support.
- Personal assistant duties and administrative support for our Chief Executive.
- Reception duties.

What you'll need to succeed:

- Passionate advocate of this great district of ours.
- Excellent attention to detail and an open communication style.
- Competent user of standard Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
- Outlook).
- Competent user of XERO would be advantageous but not essential.
- A sense of fun and a willingness to pitch in, working in a smaller team environment

Applicants for this position must have current NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. Local knowledge of Timaru District is an advantage.
