In this role you will run, maintain and enhance critical SAS-based models that support Kiwibank’s Capital and Asset & Liability Management function. You'll lead improvements in financial modelling, streamline data extraction using SQL, and refine reporting templates to increase accuracy and efficiency. Working closely with the wider Finance team, you'll help drive automation and smarter reporting by reducing manual processes.

For this role we are looking for someone with a strong and experienced skillset and we would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following:

- Expert-level SAS and SQL coding skills with extensive hands-on experience delivering complex models into production environments.
- Proven background in financial services or banking, ideally with exposure to net interest income forecasting and funds transfer pricing.
- A keen analytical mindset, ability to solve problems independently, and strong communication skills to partner with key stakeholders.
- 100% hands-on programming passion—this role is for those who love to code and model.
