**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensuring branch financial budgets and targets are achieved
- Effective recruiting, managing and leading the branch team by setting the standard for professional behaviour and leading by example
- Fully utilising the CRM processes for opportunities and customer contact for the branch and catchment while working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Internal Sales Team.
- Facilitating and implementing the Branches Self auditing responsibilities and ensuring the standards directed by the company are achieved to a high level
- Fully part of the sales process from order to supply including order management utilising our systems and processes
**Key Attributes**
- Experience of leading teams in a customer service environment to high performance through coaching, mentoring and development activities
- Experience of growing customer base, developing customer relationships and increasing revenue
- The ability to manage administration and work to tight deadlines in a calm, accurate and effective manner
- Strong computer literacy with experience in Outlook, Excel, and ERP - M3
- A Natural drive on Quality, Process and Health and Safety

Objective
**Main Objective of the Position**
Lead the branch activities across the territory, ensuring responsible business practices, and delivering company policies and procedures within limits of authority. Ensuring excellent customer relationship and market maximisation resulting in revenue, profit and cashflow targets being met.
Key Areas of Responsibility
**Financial Performance**
- Ensure branch financial budgets and targets are achieved. Establish a branch business plan that can be communicated with the branch team and wider business that outlines the strategic direction for the branch, in line with company expectations.
**Customer & Sales Management**
- Analyse the territory potential and the value of existing and prospective branch customers and manage sales activity for the branch. Identifying sales opportunities and forming a strategic coordinated approach that ensures sales targets are achieved, revenue is maximised and forecasts are accurate.
- Undertake a systematic call cycle that builds and maintains strong relationships with key branch customers, while prospecting and targeting customers for increased growth. Establishing customer plans to ensure effective customer management will be required.
**People Leadership & Management**
- Effectively recruit, manage and lead the branch team. Setting the standard for professional behaviour and leading by example. Provide direction, mentoring and training the team to ensure they are prepared and have the correct skill levels to carry out their roles effectively.
**Reporting & Sales Pipeline**
- Fully utilise the CRM processes for opportunities and customer contact for the branch. Ensure branch reporting is undertaken in line with company expectations.
**Product Knowledge**
- Must be an expert in the product knowledge to help resolve customer complaints and questions.
- Ensure to master every feature and benefit of each product.
**Branch Standards Management**
- Ensure the branch operates in line with company expectations in relation appearance, service levels and that the correct processes are adhered to.
**Health & Safety**
- Ensure branch Health and Safety targets are achieved and in line with company expectations.
- Maintain a safe system of work for the workplace.
- Proactive approach to emerging unsafe conditions.
- To comply with safe working practices as per job safety environmental assessments (JSEA’s), and safety operating procedures
- Alert employees to specific hazards. Give particular attention to new employees.
- Ensure you wear all necessary PPE and operate in a safe manner.
- Ensure you communicate near miss, incidents and hazards through our online system Vault or directly to your Line Manager
**Leadership**
- Actively leads team to high performance through coaching, mentoring and development activities
- Inspires others by setting and clearly communicating strategy to drive team members to achieve personal and team objectives
- Allocates resources and delegates tasks / projects in a way that supports and stretches tea
