We're looking for a Senior Marketing Advisor to join our busy Communications and Engagement Unit. Working alongside business groups from across the organisation, you'll help keep residents and key stakeholders informed and engaged on Council's activities, services and decision making.

Reporting to the Manager - Marketing and Identity, you'll be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies to reach and communicate with Christchurch's diverse communities.

Ideally you will be a tertiary qualified professional with more than seven years of marketing experience at a senior level. You'll have well-established and proven marketing skills - particularly in digital marketing and relationship management -and you'll have the ability to manage large programmes of work.

You will also have considerable experience in developing and implementing marketing strategy, and the ability to work in a multi-agency environment. You'll be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, work well in a complex environment, present effectively and have an exceptional talent for relationship building.
