As a Maintenance and Projects Advisor within our Facilities, Property & Planning unit, you will specialise in Security and Physical Risk Management. The main purpose of this role is to provide advice and manage services so that our customers, visitors and staff feel safe and secure within our facilities. This includes assessing risks, delivering operational and capital projects, and managing contracts with security service and hardware providers.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to facilitate process improvements and ensure that policy and standard operating procedures for both systems and sites are in place. You will be able to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and be confident liaising with other business units and stakeholders to ensure optimum effectiveness and lifespan for all security systems.

We are seeking someone with a relevant tertiary qualification and experience with project or contract management in a similar large scale and complex environment. Experience working in security is essential as you will be responsible for providing advice to staff and ensuring best practice processes are in place.

**Additional information**:

- Hours of work_ - Fulltime Permanent Position
- Salary_ - $67,787 - $99,225 per annum
- Location_ - This position is primarily based at 53 Hereford Street. Christchurch.

Whilst staff working at the Christchurch City Council are not currently required to be vaccinated, applicants need to be aware that should the COVID-19 environment change, roles across the organisation will be assessed, and the requirement to be vaccinated may be reviewed.
