This is an exciting opportunity to join an important team within our operation and make a real difference. As the VIP Gaming Machines Operations Manager, you will report to the Gaming Machines Business Manager and be responsible for leading, developing, and empowering a team of 25-40 to deliver exceptional service within responsible gaming guidelines.

Working as part of a small leadership team, you will ensure the VIP gaming rooms are maintained and operated effectively and professionally, while meeting compliance requirements. You will deal with customer queries, manage feedback, and support your team, recommending changes and initiatives to grow and retain visitation and future-proof operations and business.

**About You**:
We are looking for an inspiring, supportive, and engaging leader with a proven track record of leading successful teams. Previous experience in a casino or gaming environment would be advantageous, or someone with a wealth of operational experience. You will establish and maintain strong relationships with both the team and customers, and tackle problems with sound influential skills and a composed communication style. You should love to think outside the box, bring forward ideas and suggestions for innovation, revenue growth, and development.

You will have a good head for numbers and actively seek opportunities to reduce operational costs. Above all, your leadership style will set you apart from the rest, as you develop your people, performance, coach, and build a high-performing team, driving the team to success.

**The must-have's**:
Our Casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you will need to be comfortable working on a rotating roster around these times. We're also looking for someone who understands the operational challenges in a role like this - whilst it may be a shift-based role, our managers may sometimes need to work around this on the occasion. You'll also be required to obtain a COA gaming licence (certificate of approval) which is managed by the DIA so a clear credit and criminal history is required.
