We are a busy construction company that is always seeking hardworking labourers to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines, loading and unloading frequently weighty materials, and adhering to the instructions of supervisors and other skilled tradespeople. To succeed in this position, you must be physically fit, dependable, and a diligent worker.

**Responsibility**
- construction labourer is to operate and maintain construction machinery and equipment.
- When necessary, assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other experienced labourers.
- Prepare construction sites by removing hazards and obstructions.
- Transport construction materials.
- Assemble and disassemble temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
- Remove, replace, or compact soil.
- Follow supervisory instructions.
- Assist the artisans.
- When necessary, be willing to acquire knowledge through on-the-job training.
- Conduct site cleanup.

**Minimum 30 Hours Per week**

**Construction Labourer Requirements**:

- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Capability to perform manual labour and other physically demanding duties.
- Capability to perform in all conditions.
- Workers must be dependable and punctual.
- Construction industry experience as a general labourer is required.

**Salary**: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lower Hutt, Wellington: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
