**About the Opportunity**

Make an impact on a number of key Tait projects, being involved in test design, automation, execution and maintenance of manual and automated test suites. Tait products and solutions end up in diverse and often harsh environments so we do some pretty heavy testing
- Be responsible for test design, execution, regression testing and exploratory testing;
- Set up test tools and test environments according to the provided test specifications;
- undertake development, setup and maintenance of automated systems for both hardware and software;
- Analyse and report on test results, including preparing issue reports.

**Skills & Experience**
- Exposure to commercial Product testing for 3+ years
- Strong Exploratory Testing skills in an enterprise solution architecture environment
- Experience working in cross-functional self organizing Teams
- Proven ability of critical thinking to understand complex technical stacks
- Experienced in Test Planning, facilitating Testing effort in a cross-functional Team setting
- Experience in advocating for Testability & better Testing processes in cross-functional Teams

It would also be an advantage to have experience:

- Experience in Network capture/analysis tools like Wireshark
- Experience with Python
- Functional/non Functional testing of REST APIs
- Competency in using Linux based systems
- Exposure to Network set up & configuration
- Working knowledge of one or more protocol stacks (e.g. TCP/IP, Bluetooth, Digital Radio etc)
- Competency in scripting languages (e.g. Shell scripting) and/or Object Oriented Programming to automate repetitive tasks.

- Is a strong communicator, working effectively with colleagues to identify and resolve issues
- Has the desire to share and learn from colleagues whilst working in high performing test team
- Is a flexible team player with an inquisitive mind, strong problem solving and analysis skills who is eager to learn and able to switch context rapidly.
