Fonterra’s strength is in the collective

We are a Co-operative created and owned by Aotearoa New Zealand dairy farmers. Our rich history is built on farming families working together to share the natural goodness of our dairy with the world.

Collaboration, innovation, and passion was the cornerstone of our creation and something we continue to value today through our commitment to care for the land, our animals, and every drop of milk. Our milk creates goodness through nutritious food with safe, quality ingredients that are loved here in New Zealand and around the world.

**About this opportunity**:
The HR Operations Services Team is a centralised advisory team, with the primary purpose of providing front-line HR support and advice to managers and employees relating to operational HR policy and process, payroll and systems. The team is part of the HR Operations team within Global Service Operations and operates virtually from Auckland and Hamilton, supporting primarily New Zealand and Australia based employees.

Working with a talented, fun, and collaborative team of operational HR professionals, you will provide accurate and efficient HR policy, process and payroll advice to the business. This will include the resolution of high-volume cases across a broad spectrum, such as employment agreements, Fonterra policy, legislation, time and attendance and much more. The role will also have a focus on continuous improvement to deliver consistent and professional service and enhance the customer experience.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and bring a solutions-focused and customer-centric approach to this Advisor role. You easily build positive and informative coaching relationships and your ability to build trust and influence will help set you up for success. You will have an ability to work efficiently and strive to meet service level agreements, while balancing the requirement to provide quality advice. You will have a high level of resilience to make the most of this fast paced and varied role.

Having previous HR experience is essential and will be very beneficial in this role. In addition, being knowledgeable in employment relations legislations and having experience working in a shared services environment is highly advantageous, but not essential. What is key, is your ability to find viable, effective solutions efficiently.
