We are expanding our Engineering Team to ensure we are evolving and enhancing the Actionstep Solution to meet and deliver real values to our customers.

As the Director of Engineering, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our engineering of Actionstep. You will work closely with our VP of Technology and Engineering Teams and lead the journey to our next engineering organisation iteration.

**What you will be doing **

As Director of Engineering, Platform, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, fostering a culture of excellence, and delivering cutting-edge products and solutions. In this role, you will lead cross-functional development teams, ensuring they follow engineering best practices and maintain accountability. You'll implement the company's culture and vision within engineering, create specialized squads, and collaborate closely with product management. You will also manage software projects, collaborating with our Engineering Leadership team, and oversee the Engineering Department's budget are also essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you'll design development strategies aligned with the company's objectives and oversee the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of engineering talent.

**Requirements**:
**_ What you need to know and what will make you successful._**
- 10+ years experience in Senior Engineering / Engineering leadership roles
- Experience with SaaS Products
- Broad background in managing the use of a wide variety of development tools, languages, delivery and infrastructure
- Understanding and experience in agile methodology
- Proven Leadership and scrum experience
- Experience in Recruitment, management of talent and retention
- Experience in change management identification, development, implementation and evaluation
