To support our mission, we’re seeking a Facilities Operator to join our team to help make a real difference in our community with the addition of horticulture duties as operations demands it

**Role Overview**:
As a Facilities Operator, you’ll be a versatile team member with key responsibilities being the bin run, driving our tipper truck to collect roadside rubbish on the maunga. You’ll also assist with illegal dumping, hard surface cleaning and facilities cleaning (public bathrooms and amenities).

This is a full time position and as operational demands increase so will the availability of shifts for you to take. The role involves early starts, but that means early finishes - perfect for those who prefer a schedule that allows for the rest of the day free. The shift pattern for this role is Tuesday through to Saturday.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Reliability and Dependability: A proven track record of being punctual, responsible, and consistent in work performance.
- Full Driver’s Licence with Manual Driving Capability: Essential for driving the tipper truck and confidently driving the manual work vehicles.
- Physical Fitness and Stamina: Able to perform hands-on tasks, including rubbish collection and manual labour, as the role involves physical work.
- Flexibility: Comfortable with early starts, varied schedules.
- Commitment to Health and Safety: Understands and follows safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
