Checkout Supervisor

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Checkout Supervisor to lead from the front in one of the busiest areas of our store. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys a fast pace, thrives on customer interaction, and can keep a team energised and focused.
**About the role**:
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the checkout department. That includes:
- Leading by example with customer service and team support
- Managing breaks, task allocation, and service flow
- Resolving customer issues with professionalism and care
- Supporting team performance and upholding standards
- Coordinating with Duty Managers and other departments as needed
This role suits someone who is confident under pressure, has an eye for detail, and brings a calm, can-do attitude. You’ll be a key part of delivering on our Customer Promises and store vision.
**What we’re looking for**:
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- LCQ and General Manager’s Certificate desirable (but not essential)
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as part of a rotating roster
