Over 300 people from 10 different engineering disciplines work out of our Christchurch office, which has a depth of knowledge and exciting office culture that enables our people to play a huge role in the day-to-day life of people in New Zealand and beyond.

To be part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Southern Industrial team of around 20 mechanical, process, and electrical engineers. We are a close-knit team who enjoys being part of the Christchurch office culture which showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

As a team, we directly interface with clients, contractors and vendors to work on a diverse range of projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. In this role, you will work across a wide range of clients, industries and types of work. Each day will present a new challenge, but overall, you can expect to be part of:

- Process design on multi-discipline projects across our segments including:

- PFD and P&ID development
- Developing specifications for process equipment and supporting the tendering of major equipment
- Working with our clients to improve process capacity or troubleshoot issues either in the main plant or in the utilities space
- Supporting HAZOPs and other process safety reviews
- Attendance at design and site meetings
- Short to long-term assignments to industrial sites as part of site-based engineering teams, during the design and construction phases including regional New Zealand, New Caledonia and Indonesia.

**About you**

You love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are a qualified Process Engineer with a passion and good problem-solving skills. You have grown your technical design and project management experience through undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites. You will also have an enquiring mind and be able to problem solve and think laterally. While not essential experience across either pulp & paper or food & beverage would be advantageous.
