About the role | Mō te tūnga
Be part of building a vibrant and supportive Ministerial Support team.
An opportunity has arisen within our dedicated Ministerial Support team. This team provides services to the whole organisation with the aim of ensuring quality official correspodence and reporting across the business.
You will be required to proactively coordinate, support, and facilitate the workflow of the team and seamless delivery of a range of administrative supports, including reporting, to Oranga Tamariki. To achieve the best results your work will be consistent, high quality, and efficient.

You will thrive on having a busy day and working across the organisation.
You will be an energetic high performer with the ability to work well under pressure, and to tight timeframes when needed. A high level of written and verbal communication skills is needed, including the ability to proof documents ensuring they are clear and succinct. In addition, your knowledge and understanding of administration procedures and coordination will help to ensure the successful delivery of day to day work.
Experience in New Zealand's public sector, knowledge of the machinery of government and an understanding of the Official Information Act is desirable.
Responsiveness to te ao Māori, tikanga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi will be at the front of mind in all your work as will an understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural issues and concerns including Pacific peoples' culture.
