We have two permanent full tine Advisor, Ministerial Correspondence opportunities available, based at the Justice Centre, Wellington.

To be successful, you will need to have exceptional communication skills, an understanding of the Machinery of Government, a sophisticated risk radar and the ability to be resilient and work as part of a team. As an Advisor, Ministerial Correspondence, you will be responsible for providing timely, comprehensive and tailored Ministerial services, including the release of information to Ministers and the public, and responses to Parliamentary, interagency, and public requests for information.

This includes managing, processing, and drafting responses to requests for information and drafting responses to Ministerial correspondence. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Ministry to ensure that responses meet statutory requirements, align to publicly available information, and are issued within relevant timeframes.

- solid understanding of public sector arrangements and processes
- energy to thrive in a fast paced and time-bound environment
- ministerial servicing or official correspondence experience.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $73,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
