We are looking a Qualified Drainlayer to join our busy Drainage Team servicing Dunedin City.

**What's the job?**

As Drainlayer you will be working with the Drainage Team to maintain the Dunedin City Drainage networks on a reactive or scheduled basis to contract specifications.

This may include inspections of sewer assets, operating a high-pressure Jet Vac, CCTV inspections and carrying out repairs.

In this role you will be required to drive and operate our wastewater maintenance units undertaking the inspecting, cleaning and maintenance of the wastewater pipes on a reactive and scheduled basis to contract specifications.

**Skills & Experience**

Ideally you will have previous experience in maintaining sewer and/or storm water networks or experience within the construction and utilities industry.

This is a customer focused role so you must enjoy working with the public and wider community.
- You will be physically fit, health and safety focused, able to work well in a team as well as independently.
- You will have a Full Class 1 license and an ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Class 2 or class 4 license required for combo truck operators
- You will be able and willing to participate in the on call and standby roster
