The Brand & Communications Manager is responsible for leading the communication strategy through collaborative development and execution in support of external sales, marketing and customer communications. Supporting internal communications within a rapidly expanding commercial and manufacturing team of colleagues, in a rapidly growing and innovative business will make this role integral to supporting of our internal culture, and driving external customer awareness of who we are, and what we do.

**What You Will Do**

**Responsibilities include, however not limited to**:

- Ability to put great story together into one compelling communication strategy.
- An individual who is creative with words, passionate about farming and media, and combining the two together.
- Activities will include, but not be limited to creating engaging brand and corporate communications and experiences that ultimately deliver against business sales and market share objectives.
- Of critical importance to the successful execution of this role is liaising between the Marketing, Sales, Technical and Regulatory teams to create and co-ordinate those activities and ensure smooth implementation of these to internal and external stakeholders, and customers. Our core customers are New Zealand farmers - so an understanding and passion for the primary sector is strongly desirable.
- Additionally, the Brand & Communications Manager acts as a key marketing contact for Key Customer Servicing, and is responsible for maintaining clear communication and fostering strong working relationships with the after sales support teams and key accounts, to build long-term success.
- You will work across an exciting and rapidly expanding business combining Our Company’s Animal Health and Allflex Livestock Intelligence, which includes bio-pharmaceutical, animal identification, animal monitoring and milking intelligence within the portfolio. And a company that has great story of innovation, manufacture and investment in New Zealand.
- The Brand & Communications Manager sits within the Animal Health Livestock Business Unit and reports to Marketing Lead.

**What You Must Have**
- Communications or Marketing degree or equivalent tertiary qualifications in business related discipline essential.
- Experience in a marketing communications or similar role essential.
- Experience in Animal Health business or a knowledge of animal farming systems preferred but not essential.
- Able to collaborate with other departments in a team setting demonstrating our Company’s leadership competencies.
- Creative flair with excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-starter with initiative who works well in a team but with mínimal supervision.
- Business focused management skills including prioritising tasks, goal setting and decision making.
- Experience managing digital and multichannel marketing programs such as salesforce would be highly regarded.
- Able to evaluate and report key metrics and campaign performance to the team.
- Able to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Project management skills to initiate and complete multiple projects as required.
- Able to analyse data and approach problem solving in a logical manner.
- A strong passion for the primary sector is highly desirable.
