Join us as Service Technician for the Electrification Business Area where you will be conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PCS100 and PS120 modules in accordance with ABB standards and procedures. Reporting to the Service Manager and this position will be based in Napier, New Zealand.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Conducting maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of PCS100 and PS120 modules in accordance with ABB standards and procedures
- Performing inspections and preventing maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment
- Collaborating with R&D and production teams to identify and address technical issues promptly
- Following safety procedures and always adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of all the activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory
- Assisting in the development and implementation of improvement initiatives to enhance service bay efficiency and productivity
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues if required
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

**Your background**:

- Electrician Qualification is desired with previous experience in a technical role, preferably in equipment maintenance or repair
- Basic understanding of and electrical and electronic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory standards
