As a Despatcher, you’ll be joining the high performing Bulk Bitumen Team. They ensure that our branches receive bitumen products safely and on time. Working closely with drivers, branches, plants, sealing crews, and the wider Bitumen Manufacturing team, it's a varied and busy role.

**About the role**
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, drivers and stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for all involved
- Coordination and complete dispatch operations for Bulk Bitumen Movements
- Maintain daily contact with Site Supervisors to ensure orders are being completed on time
- Use initiative and problem-solving skills to achieve customer outcomes
- Coordination and management of daily maintenance tasks
- Plan, allocate, and organize bulk binder movements to maximise efficiency and profitability

**What you will bring to the role**
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Excel proficiently
- Good geographical knowledge of Aotearoa
- Good knowledge of the Land Transport Act 1998
- A positive attitude and the ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to build and maintain a positive team culture
- It is preferred that you have previous dispatch experience
- Dangerous Goods Licence (can be obtained)
- Mon-Fri, 7 a.m.4 p.m. Hours will increase in the busy season and decrease in the winter. Being on call is necessary, but it is a shared responsibility. You will need to have ability to work flexible hours and adjust to seasonal demands
