**The role**
Our Psychology Services team is looking for practitioners with energy and drive to deliver psychological services to better enable the NZ Intelligence Community within the Wellbeing Psychology Service.
The NZIC Wellbeing Psychology Services team has been established to develop, maintain and oversee the delivery of psychological services to support the people in our community. The Psychology services we provide include:
- Psychological Assessment and Therapy
- Staff EAP and clinical services
- Consultation with providers and stakeholders
- Training and development
- Harm prevention programmes
- Case management
**Who we're looking for**
As our Psychologist you will deliver psychological services to support the NZIC. You will be an innovative and effective practitioner, qualified to deliver professional clinical psychology services including but not limited to
- A breadth of psychological practice
- An ability to develop and provide effective therapeutic practice
- The ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
The role will suit someone who values diversity and inclusion and contributes to an inclusive working environment. You will have the ability to work collaboratively, independently, as well as in a small team environment and develop strong working relationships with a range of services.
You will be registered to practice with the New Zealand Psychologist Board as a psychologist in New Zealand in the clinical scope of practice. You will have a qualification in an area of clinical psychology, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in psychological practice.

**Before you apply**
Working within our unique environment means we have to ensure you're eligible for employment.
You must:
- Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years
OR
Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
- Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
- Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15 year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
