Don’t miss this opportunity to be an integral part of the team at our facility in Papakura. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Technician is to develop and manage the quality systems and culture within the manufacturing business unit. You will be a natural influencer with the ability to lead the quality and food safety agenda ensuring compliance to all regulatory, customer and company requirements.

**Key responsibilities**
- Coaching, training and auditing of operating staff in the quality team including standard checking and some calibration of equipment
- Analysing quality information, auditing quality control systems and benchmarking our quality performance
- Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints
- Providing advice, support and information to ensure effective delivery of our quality KPI’s
- Monitor the inputs and outputs within the manufacturing process to ensure process capability and conformance to national specifications
- Support site internal audit and external audit programs by maintaining compliance to site, national and customer requirements related to hygiene, sanitation and microbiological compliance.

**About You**

As a key member of the Quality Team, your resume will ideally demonstrate prior experience in Quality roles within a FMCG / Food manufacturing environment.

In addition, you will possess:

- A demonstrated passion for quality through prior study and/or experience in a related discipline
- An ability to manage change and influence others
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed Project Management skills
- Excellent relationship management ability
