- Location: Auckland, NZ, 2022- Onsite or Hybrid: OnSite**Babcock **is looking for a** Workshop Manager **to lead the** Workshop Operations t**eam based at **_Auckland Airport._**
**About the role**
Join our team at Air New Zealand as a Workshop Manager and lead a dedicated team of mechanics and administrative staff to provide top-notch maintenance and repair services.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our customers while adhering to contractual, legislative, and organizational standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Leadership**: Provide values-based leadership to ensure employee engagement, performance, and well-being.
- **Health & Safety**: Implement safe working practices and promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- **Asset** **Management**: Deliver best practice asset management solutions to meet contractual requirements and add value to clients.
- **Process Improvement**: Develop innovative methods to continuously improve processes for employees, customers, and stakeholders.
- **Customer Relations**: Manage resources to achieve or exceed budgeted profit margins while delivering contractual obligations and maintaining good customer relations.
**About you**
Experience with asset management software and OEM/dealer experience would be advantageous.
**Key Required Skills**
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of heavy vehicle and mobile equipment maintenance.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience with asset management software (e.g., iSolutions AMT) or similar systems.
